018. Cave Rover 1 First Successful Cave Exploration Test, Monroe County, Indiana

In this episode of Lotus Petal Adventures, we take a special sneak peak at Cave Rover 1. A concept design prototype cave exploration robot, presently in development. We headed to Monroe County, Indiana, for the first successful test of the cover in a cave environment. During the test, the rover was able to go a distance of 100' into a low crawlway within a cave, and explored for over 2 hours. Featured in this video is the first 4 mintues, of the view from the rover, along with behind the scenes footage of the prototype test.
